The Tuition Car
The tuition car is a new 2007 Renault Clio Dynamique 1.4 16v in Pearl Black. It was voted European Car of the Year 2006, (read a review here) and is both easy and a pleasure to drive. A few of it's many features are:

Inside the Clio, the layout of the car is great. All controls fall easily to hand and are clear and concise. Head and legroom to the front is great for a car of this size and equipment includes central locking and alarm activated by the button on the key.
On the road the clio is easy to drive, the power steering makes for effortless handling along with excellent gear changes, clutch and stick.
Pleasant DriveOn the dual carriagway / motorway the 1.4 engine is superb, the clio feels very good at 70 mph, around town too it's nippy and enjoyable.
It is fitted with dual controls, which I might use from time to time if you need any help, usually only in the beginning stages of learning to drive.
The 1.4 engine is a nice size for a beginner, not too powerful, and the 16 valves mean that there is always a bit of power in reserve should you need it, on higher speed roads such as single or dual carriageway for example. (or..after you've passed your test..on the motorway if you do the PASS PLUS course!)
The Clio is an excellent car to drive and perfect for beginners!
